Frequently Asked Questions

To create an account, download the Oystr app from your device's app store. Open the app and follow the on-screen prompts to sign up using your email address or a linked social media account.
Use the search bar at the top of the main screen to enter keywords like cuisine type, restaurant name, or activity. You can also browse by categories or use location filters to find places near you.
Ensure that location services are enabled for the Oystr app in your device's settings. Sometimes, simply restarting your device or the app can resolve minor issues. If the problem persists, try reinstalling the app.
After visiting a place, navigate to its profile page in the Oystr app. You'll find an option to 'Write a Review' or 'Add Photos.' Share your experience and help others discover great spots!
On the login screen, tap 'Forgot Password?' Enter your registered email address, and we'll send you instructions on how to reset your password.
You can delete your account from within the app settings. Go to your profile, then 'Settings,' and look for the 'Delete Account' option. Please note that deleting your account is irreversible.
First, ensure your app is updated to the latest version. Try clearing the app's cache (via device settings) or reinstalling the app. If the issue continues, please contact our support team with details about your device and the problem.
